What to expect at a session. 
Your session can last from 30-minutes to 1-fulll hour. Our amethyst mats do really work as infrared heat therapy mats and they can be a great tool for rest, relaxation, rejuvenation and even pain relief. A PhyMat Treatment involves laying still, relaxing, and allowing your body to heal itself. As you lie on the PhyMat, you might feel varying emotions and sensations. Some experiences are incredibly relaxing, enabling you to simply drift off into a restful sleep for the duration of the treatment. Other people report feeling energized, clear-headed, and excited for the day at the end of their session. Regardless of its effects, whether calming or stimulating, the experience itself will be warm, comforting, and healing. 

Amethyst mats generate infrared heat closely aligned to the body’s own infrared wavelengths and negative ions like we find in nature and near water. The process is simple, the mat is constructed to plug into the wall and heat the crystals with electricity. The heated crystals then emit infrared heat in the wavelength range of the human body, and refreshing negative ions which we can receive by laying on the amethyst mat.
