Screams: This journey contains 2 breath holds (on the in breath) followed by a scream. (First 90 second hold + scream at min 36 second at min 51). Brian leads into the breath hold by saying ‘’ alright here we go, on my count you’re going to hold your breath and have this massive scream at the top ‘’ ‘’ here we go 3…2….1… big breath IN and hold ‘’

WHAT YOU NEED:

(1) A good internet connection; insure a stable internet connection. Test your internet.

(2) A very good quality pair of headphones

(3) QUIET ROOM: Have a quiet space for the 1.5-hour session. Putting away any pets and your lovely children in a separate room.

(4) CELL PHONES turned off or on mute. Remember, this is YOUR time for inner peace, make the most of it mindfully.

(5) Be comfortable: (a) yoga mat or bed, (b) knee bolster, (c) small head pillow: (it cannot be too thick, since you need the passageway to breathe deeply without your neck and throat being elevated too high, (d) eye mask, (e) blanket & (f) headphones; reguired on both ears, or earpods.

Contraindications and health risks

Please check with your physician if you have any of the following circular breathing contraindications:

● Pregnancy
● High Blood Pressure (not controlled with medication)
● Cardiovascular disease including angina, previous heart attack or stroke
● Diagnosis of aneurysm in the brain or abdomen
● Uncontrolled thyroid conditions and diabetes
● Asthma–if you are asthmatic, bring your inhaler to the session
● Epilepsy
● Diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition
● Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years.
● Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release.
Liability Waiver

Since 2013 Breathwork has been officially deemed, by the greater medical community, as a "low risk" therapy. With all sessions, before anyone begins, we have you sign a Liability Waiver for your protection and ours. A contraindication is a specific situation or condition where a particular treatment, procedure, or medication should not be used because it may be harmful to the person. CLICK HERE to read and sign.
DRESS: Please wear comfortable clothes. Shoes off during the journey session.

BE PREPARED: Since you will be in our own home, we ask that you are prepared with:

(1) A good internet connection; insure a stable internet connection. Test your internet.

(2) Able to access ZOOM

(3) A very good quality pair of headphones

(5) To be the most supported and prepared as to when we do our sessions, you will require:

This is so important for YOU to be prepared with your ZOOM call session. Instructions will be sent to you, in order to how to get your controls ready for this session in advance.

(1) Go to your ZOOM Workplace App and go to SETTINGS in the upper right hand corner toggle.

(2) Click on AUDIO

(3) Scroll down to "Audio Profile"

(4) Click the (circle) blue mark for "Original sound for musicians".

(5) Below, click and check-mark the box that reads: "High fidelity music mode".

(6) Then click and check-mark the box that reads: "Stereo audio".
WE WILL PROMPTLY BEGIN THE ZOOM AT THE SCHEDULED TIME:

Typically, a 9D Breathwork session is started with Rosemarie doing a 20-minute presentation on the style of breathwork that is going to be used, and then briefly explaining the contraindications to everyone. Please make sure that this LIABILITY WAIVER is signed, BEFORE the session.

Then everyone will take a moment to get comfortable, as they should have everything set up in their personal space before the ZOOM session begins. Please be mindful of your time.

Because this presentation is done via ZOOM and with your own headphones, the sound system will not be the same as it is in person, with our set up and 9D headphones. But you will still receive an amazing experience. Please make sure your volume is set HIGH in your ZOOM, and that your headphones are on the highest volume.
